Yeah so if you've ever stumbled across this website and wondered just what the hell are all these little pixie type characters popping up are all about, then this page might be for you......

This is where I'll share bits of my journey with you in my (attempt?) to write and design a world class British made manga series. Wether this will ever happen or not is anyones guess but perhaps its the journey not the end destination that might be the fun part to share?

If you didn't already know, the story is about the river guardian spirits of the UK, or should I say more precisely its 'rivers incarnate.' The story will explore each river in detail, their histories and local mythologies, biodiversity and take a closer look as to why UK rivers are in the state they are in today. (Well thats on the surface anyway, and just an excuse to be able to create a world where I get to see cute little pixie elf type things, battle and rip the shit outta mechanical monstrosities, battle ancient spirits, demonic entities of old .......and of course take on the evil that are, the UK's  water companies! The journey so far although slow has been for me at least a really insightful look into the rivers I've so far studied. The biggest thing taken from it all so far is just how mysterious and steeped in mythology etc these rivers really are from their curious ancient names right down to each's individuals local histories, the fact each is a bringer of death not only life, a place people choose to go to die, places industrial revolutions were formed on etc etc etc. All resulting in this story seemingly writing itself in many aspects whilst adding much weight and substance to the overall concept. (As if these rivers actually need help from someone like me anyway, the bloddy ancient mysterious things they already are lol...)
