HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one and only Gingy!! Hope your having the best time and thank you for all you've done and 'do' for me, its been great reconnecting again after a couple of years, involving me once again in some of your latest projects!

I remarkably first met this wonderful lady through my extensive resaerch into my family tree from the side that has Welsh roots in the region that is the  modern day island of Holyhead, Anglesey  North Wales. (Having studied ancient history particularly that of Northern Europe and the Middle East  combined with the occult and ancient occult symbolism for what must be more than 15 years now, has certainly led to some intersting discoveries and aundiences with some interesting people in academia and beyond...

Well to cut this very long story short, fate/destiny somehow led me to this hilariously witty, brilliant minded not to mention kind-hearted redhead originally raised in Wales herself who not only seemed to be on almost the identical quest as myself, but was in fact, several steps ahead of me complete with far more detailed and in depth family tree charts, a better understanding of old Welsh languages,, as well as in possession of far more extensive DNA records connecting us to the same set of ancestors and in particular a very curious one, descended and connected to a lot of interesting figures throughout the history of the British Ilses...

 

Before long we had to meet and instead of being that awkward or strange first meeting, we instead instantly got on and hit it off straight away as I was greeted with and got to know someone not only blatently of genius level interlect, an ancomplished writer, a brilliant academic, historian, an award winner combined with a flourishing career in television etc, an obviously classy lady.......but also someone very grounded kind and caring, who undedstands people, wise, with so much in common not to mention stupendously and hillariously funny full of great stories and unique ideas! (Seriously Ginge, you need to drop everything and start writing comedy's for Channel 4/ BBC 3 or something right!?)

Well to cut further long stories short and a few fascinating adventures later, the last of which a few years ago now, we soon found out we are much more closely related than orginally thought and are in fact blood related first cousins ha! And that our shared research into some very curious and fascinating characters, locations and history of ancient Britain is as of yet incomplete and many questions remain unanswered with further dots and connections yet to be made and 'discovered.' And that the only way to reach further conclusions, would be to visit a further number of locations of interest and to survey the 'ley' of the land Alfred Watkins style across Wales ourselves, its islands, Scotland and England, as one thing learned from personal experience we've often found, is that the land often gives you its sectrets with many answers often found within the landscape itself....

So yes happy birthday lovely your awsome and never fail to impress and inspre,  no better day than to announce your newly proposed Grand Tour trip of Wales/Scotland this autumn eh where i still havent fully agreed to acompany you to film and document our findings, theory and conjecture with an actual film crew (seriously wtf?)  . Will I be promised rivers here? Do I get access to rivers if I come? I'm talking Welsh rivers here, Scottish rivers I need to understand more about , two birds with one stone perhaps, and a crate of  posh cider thrown in daily I'll drink off camera and on car journeys only of course?? Have a good think about my terms and demands please.......
